February is a very busy month... please mark your calendar for all of these dates!
#1 Canadian presentations start on Monday, Feb. 12. Everyone should have received their Canada poster back and are hopefully preparing for their special day as #1 Canadian. If you did not receive the letter and/or the poster please contact me asap as they went home on Monday or Tuesday of last week. The dates for the presentations are posted on the outside window of the classroom.

Thursday, February 15 - National Canada Flag Day so we decided Div. 12 & 13 would honour this by wearing red or something that has a Canadian flag on it. Please don't feel you need to go out to buy anything though we just thought it would go along with our study of Canada.
Friday, February 16 - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory play at Westview We will be walking to and from Westview so please ensure your child is dressed for the weather.
Monday, February 19 - Family Day - no school ENJOY! ***No Spelling this week
Tuesday, February 20 - Pro D - no school for students
Friday, February 23 - Skating - Please sign up and send in money in a labelled ziplock bag for skate and helmet rentals.
Monday, Feb. 26th - 100 Day - All primary students are encouraged to wear a collection of 100
Wednesday, Feb. 28th - Pink Shirt Day - Spread Kindness
