December 8/23

It was so nice to meet with all of you to celebrate your child's learning and to set goals.  Thank you all for taking the time to come in and your continued support.

Monday morning is the last day to send in donations/toys for the Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows Christmas Hamper.  Div. 13 has done an amazing job of the announcements each morning encouraging Fairview that Little People Can Make A Big Difference!

Our skating field trip will be on Tuesday, Dec. 12.  If you haven't already done so please sign up on the parent portal.  Students need to bring their skating equipment and clothing plus booster seats on Tuesday morning.  If you are renting skates/helmets please send in the money on Monday. Thanks to these parents who have signed up to drive, Gavin, Deighton, Massimo, Easton, Rhett, Aurora, Mary, August, Blake and Aneka.  Please arrive at 12:20.

The Christmas concert is on Wednesday, Dec. 13th.  We are performing with our big buddies and are presenting Jingle Bell Rock, the lyrics are in your child's Poetry Book. We've named ourselves 'The Snow It Alls!   Costume is black and white if possible.  The dress rehearsal will be on Tuesday, Dec. 12 in the morning.

Div. 13''s Classroom Celebration will be on Thursday, Dec. 21.  Thanks in advance to the following families who signed up to bring treats...  Fruit Plate - Wyatt,   Veggie Tray -  Rhett, Cheese Crackers/Small Sandwiches - Massimo,   Special Treat - Aurora, Chips/Popcorn etc. -  Blake,   Other - Juel

A big thank you to Rhett and Aurora's family for cutting and supplying enough wood for both Div. 12 & 13 to make our special snowman craft.

Div. 13 had 14 Club RED members, way to read!  There were a total of 177 Club RED members at Fairview.

This round of Explorations has been enjoyed by everyone!  The students are making a stocking for our fireplace and completing a December calendar but the train station, the Polar Express and Lincoln logs are the highlights!  They created many of the Fort Langley buildings!
